Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects to the major satisfaction from the grit and the emotional intelligence in the nursing students.
Methods: All 118 nursing students participated this study and checked the levels of grit, emotional intelligence, and the major satisfaction. They responded questionnaires and the analysis was done with the SPSS program.
Results: The major satisfaction was effected by emotional intelligence but not the grit.
Conclusion: Based on the result, it is apparent that the emotional intelligence has an affirmative effect on the major satisfaction in the nursing students. We suggest, therefore, that the program which can develop the emotional intelligence would be created and developed to flourish the emotional intelligence for the nursing students.
